Welcome to the News section of our website. Keeping with a theme of Transparency in Government, we will keep you informed of activities within our government and the challenges we face on a daily basis.
This news section is divided into Tapuitea and Press Releases. Tapuitea is our weekly print version of local news and may be downloaded in PDF format for viewing and printing. Press Releases are issued by the Governor's Office.
We have two search engines on the site. "American Samoa Sites" searches on a group of sites relevant to American Samoa. "News Pages Only" searches on news sections on this site. You will find this search facility very useful as a research tool.
The news media should subscribe to our RSS Feeds to receive current news automatically.
Directors and other key people within ASG should feel free to send news-worthy information to the newsroom for consideration and posting in this section.
