Gov. Togiola issues Thanksgiving message:
“We thank God for Family”
(UTULEI) – Governor Togiola Tulafono today expressed his gratitude to all families of American Samoa in his annual Thanksgiving message.
The following is the official Thanksgiving 2007 message from Governor Togiola:
We thank God for Family
On this Thanksgiving Day celebration, we thank God for family. All our families.
We say thank you that we are able to gather with family here at home. And we call to mind all our family members who are not with us because of school, business and family commitment away from home. We say thank you God for family and His countless blessings.
We offer a special thank you and prayer to our military family – our brave sons and daughters who have answered the call to defend America and American Samoa and our way of life. We give thanks for the sacrifices they and their families are making for all of us.
As we begin the season of giving, we give thanks to God for protecting our American Samoa family. May His guidance renew our appreciation and gratitude for family and friends who make a great impact in our daily lives.
Mary, Lieutenant Governor Ipulasi and Mrs. Elisapeta Sunia, and all of our families, join me in wishing you all a safe and Happy Thanksgiving holiday. Ia manuia le Aso Fa’afetai.
