Gov. Togiola accepts resignation of

Uiagalelei Iona, Property Management

 

(UTULEI) - Governor Togiola Tulafono today accepted the resignation of Uiagalelei Iona, the Acting Director of the Office of Property Management. Uiagalelei sent a letter of resignation to the Governor today. The letter reads:

“I am writing to submit my resignation as Acting Director of the Office of Property Management to be effective immediately.

I hope that all my years of service to the American Samoa Government has been a worthy contribution as well as support for your administration.

I have always appreciated your guidance and the quality of your assistance. I wish to thank you very much for my appointment and it is my hope that I have fulfilled my part as a servant.”

“Today, I accepted Mr. Uiagalelei’s resignation. I wish to thank him for his service to this administration and to the American Samoa Government. We are working actively to appoint a new Director as quickly as possible,” said Governor Togiola.

In his letter today to Uiagalelei, Governor Togiola expressed his gratitude for his many years of service.

“Thank you for your letter indicating your intention to resign your post as Acting Chief Property Management Officer. By virtue of this communication, I herewith accept your tendered resignation. 

I thank you for the several years of service that you have provided to the American Samoa Government, and I wish you every success in all of your future endeavors. I wish you the very best.”
