Lieutenant Governor Ipulasi announces prayer service for
Gov. Togiola this Friday
(UTULEI) – Lieutenant Governor Ipulasi Aitofele Sunia today announced a prayer service will be held this Friday to offer thanksgiving for the safe return of Governor Togiola Tulafono, who will arrive this Thursday night from Honolulu.
Lieutenant Governor Ipulasi said the special prayer service, scheduled for this Friday at 3:30pm at H. Rex Lee Auditorium (Fale Laumei) in Utulei, is a great opportunity for the Territory to welcome home the Governor and the First Lady Mary Ann.
“I wish to invite the public to this thanksgiving prayer service so that we may unite in strong spiritual support to give thanks and praise to God for restoring the blessings of good health upon the Governor,” said Lieutenant Governor Ipulasi. “Prayer is good medicine. And through prayer, we are grounded spiritually. Since January, for many of us, we have met in prayer for the safe return home of the Governor. And this Friday, we will all have the opportunity to join in prayer with the Governor and welcome him back to our island home. But, more importantly, we will come together to give thanks for God’s love and goodness in answering all of our prayers for renewal of the Governor’s health.”
