Governor Togiola Tulafono discharged from Straub Hospital in Honolulu
(UTULEI) – Acting Governor Fepulea’i Afa Ripley today announced that Governor Togiola Tulafono was discharged from Straub Hospital in Honolulu on Monday.
The following is the official statement from Acting Governor Fepulea’i:
STATEMENT
“I am very happy to report that Governor Togiola Tulafono was released from Straub Hospital on Monday night. The Governor’s health is improving and he is doing very well. He has made great progress while recovering from his illness, which resulted in his being discharged almost two days ago.
The Governor will undergo medical check-ups in Honolulu for the next couple of weeks.
Governor Togiola wishes to express his most sincere gratitude for all the prayers and best wishes from our people and especially from our sons and daughters who are proudly serving in the military.
May the Good Lord continue to bless the people of American Samoa and especially all our soldiers defending our freedom.”
