Lt. Gov. Ipulasi says Governor Togiola doing remarkably well at Straub
(UTULEI) – Lieutenant Governor Ipulasi Aitofele Sunia today said Governor Togiola “is resting well” and, so far, making a spectacular recovery at Straub Hospital in Honolulu.
The following is the official statement from Lieutenant Governor Ipulasi:
STATEMENT
“I am happy to inform you today that Governor Togiola Tulafono is doing remarkably well at Straub Hospital.
The Governor’s vital signs are good and he is resting well in his hospital room. He is able to sit up and he is taking brief walks around the room a few times a day.
The Governor continues to be taking his medication as doctors run tests – which are all part of precautionary measures after a post-operative fever.
Governor Togiola said this morning he is in good shape and recovering well. The Governor and First Lady Mary Ann continue to express their sincere thanks to all of American Samoa for your prayers and best wishes.”
