ARPA Non-Profit Assistance Program (NAP)
The American Samoa Criminal Justice Planning Agency is proposing for funding of $4,500,000.00 to aid non-profit organizations in sustaining and advancing necessary services and programs to benefit direct beneficiaries in the territory during these unprecedented times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Non-profit applications can be submitted to the Criminal Justice Planning Agency (CJPA) electronically via this email address: julia.pereira@cjpa.as.gov or return a hard copy of the application to CJPA Office, located on the 3rd floor of the A.P. Lutali Executive Office Building in Utulei, Am. Samoa. Please choose only one option, not both, to submit your application to prevent duplication and confusion. Your first submission will be considered as the final application. The new deadline to submit your application is Friday, July 22, 2022. Vision Statement
The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Oversight Office will oversee the implementation, disbursement and execution of all ARPA funds as prescribed in the American Rescue Plan Act to address the impact to the Territory and its residents as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Public Health Emergency.
MISSION Statement
To ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements for the eligible use of ARPA funds as prescribed in the American Rescue Plan Act. To ensure all ARPA funded projects are implemented with transparency and accountability. To ensure compliance with all public health emergency measures and to protect the people of American Samoa.
